The latest information about fair housing and disability issues will be the focus of the annual Henderson Fair Housing/Employment Luncheon on Thursday, April 25.
The luncheon will be sponsored by the Henderson-Henderson County Human Relations Commission and the City of Henderson Community Development Department.
It is set for 11:30 a.m. at Denton Shelter in Atkinson Park.
Mary Ann Taylor of the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights will guide the discussion at the annual luncheon.

The City’s Arbor Day Celebration organized by the Parks Department has been set for 4 p.m. Friday, April 26.
The ceremony, which includes announcing the winners of the Arbor Day coloring contest as well as winners of a new essay contest, will take place near the Spray Park at East End Park. An Autumn Blaze Maple Tree will be planted to mark the occasion.
During the Arbor Day ceremony, a proclamation will make note of the City’s 24th designation as a Tree City USA. More details will be available closer to the event.

For the third year, Parks & Recreation Department will be partnering with Downtown Henderson Partnership and co-hosting a “Movie Night” on the Friday night of Tri-Fest Weekend.
The movie is the animated feature “Bumblebee (2018).” It’s a free event and will start at dusk in Audubon Mill Park just prior to the Tri-Fest Fireworks Show on the Downtown Riverfront.
