The Summer Meal program was established to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. The meals are available at no cost to all children and youth ages 18 and younger or a person 19-21 years of age who has a mental or physical disability and still participates in a school program.
The Summer Food Service Program is part of the National Summer Food Service Program, a federally funded program operated by the USDA.
