Boy Scout Troop 301 selling Christmas trees

HENDERSON, Ky. -- Boy Scout Troop 301 has started its annual Christmas Tree sales project. The location is the vacant lot at 330 N. Green St. (just south of railroad tracks between Third and Fourth streets.)

Tree lot hours are:

—Monday through Friday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

—Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

—Sundays, noon to 6 p.m.

The troop is selling Fraser firs, Douglas firs, Scotch pines and white pines. Trees range in size from 6 feet to 10 feet and prices start at $40 based on height and species.

There will be free hot chocolate with the purchase of a tree on Dec. 14-15.

Proceeds from the project help pay for summer camp and other camping activities.
