HCHS graduation, other end of school events set

HENDERSON, Ky. -- Henderson County High School graduation has been set for 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, at the Ford Center in Evansville. Doors open to the public at 5:30 p.m.

Seniors will participate in a Graduation Walk on May 16. The Graduation Walk allows graduating seniors the opportunity to walk the halls of their elementary, middle and high school with students and staff lining the hallways of the schools to cheer them on.

Graduation Walk schedule:

8 a.m. at elementary and middle school

11 a.m. at HCHS.

Here are some other notable dates to remember as school winds down:

May 15: Job Recruitment Fair, 4:30 p.m. HCS Professional Development Center.

May 16: North Middle School 8th Grade promotion ceremony, 8 a.m., at Preston Arts Center.

May 16: South Middle School 8th Grade promotion ceremony, 8 a.m. at Preston Arts Center.

May 16: Senior Honors Night, 6 p.m., HCHS Auxiliary Gym.

May 16: Last day of school for HCS students.

May 21: Central Academy graduation, 6 p.m., South Middle School.
