HENDERSONY, Ky. – The Henderson County Public Library will host the “Food for Fines” program in celebration of National Library Week in April.
“Food for Fines” will run from Saturday, April 6 through Saturday, May 4. The library is accepting non-perishable, non-expired, unopened canned or boxed food items, which will then be donated to local food banks. Please consider using this program to reduce or eliminate fines or fees you may have and help those less fortunate at the same time.
Henderson County Public Library will forgive up to $2 in fines & fees per acceptable food item. Non-refundable collection agency fees will not be eligible for the program. “Food for Fines” ends May 4.
