HENDERSON, Ky. -- The next Henderson City/County "Trash Talk" litter pick-up has been set for Saturday, July 29, and volunteers are needed.
Henderson County Solid Waste Coordinator Nancy Watkins said the pick-up site will be in the East End, and volunteers should meet at Audubon Kids Zone. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Sign-up will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Children younger than 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children younger than 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
"Trash Talk" has already hosted a series of litter pick-ups this year in addition to the annual River Sweep.
