Are your kids bored yet? Here's a list of things to do

Kids Day

HENDERSON, Ky. -- School has been out just a week, and if you have kids or grandkids you’re probably already hearing those two dreaded words: “I’m bored.”

The good news is that there’s a lot for kids to get involved in this summer. Here are some of the highlights:

ONGOING

  • Through July 27: YMCA Summer Day Camp, boys and girls ages 6-12; nine one-week session, can sign up by the week. Free breakfast and lunch through Summer Food Service. Variety of activities. Information, sign-up: 270-827-9622.
  • Through July 26, Monday through Friday: Summer Food Service, Bend Gate Elementary, 920 Bend Gate Road. Breakfast: 9-9:30 a.m. Lunch: Noon-1 p.m.
