Awards presented in 25th-annual 'A Fresh Perspective' art exhibit

HENDERSON, Ky. -- Henderson Society of Art has presented awards in the 25th-annual "A Fresh Perspective" art exhibit now on exhibit at the John James Audubon State Park Museum.

Prize money totaled $2,400. The exhibit is co-sponsored by Audubon Museum and Ohio Valley Art League. The exhibit will remain through July 5 and can be viewed during museum hours.

Winners are:

FIRST PLACE  $500 from Henderson Area Arts Alliance “Kudu Considers” by Paulette Reid

SECOND PLACE  $400 from Henderson Society of Art “Joey Gilmore (Miller House)” by Rex Robinson

THIRD PLACE  $300 from Henderson Area Arts Alliance “Diamond Sparkles” by Bob Zasadny

FOURTH PLACE  $200 from Friends of Audubon “Molly” by Carol Bosko

FIFTH PLACE  $175 from Ohio Valley Art League  “My Dad, the hard worker” by Sheila Jolly Pence

SIXTH PLACE $150 from Henderson Society of Art “Ancient Waters” by Todd Derr
