College Shuttle
Shuttle service originates from the Transfer Point at Third and Main at 7:30 am, 11:30 am, and 3:30 pm and travels directly to and from Henderson Community College.

Demand Response

HART provides paratransit service for the elderly and persons with disabilities through the Demand Response program. The HART Demand Response provides paratransit service to persons who are unable to access the fixed route system upon approval of their ADA application. Trip reservations are required a minimum of one day in advance. Hours of service are 6:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. The paratransit fare is $1 per one-way trip. Stopovers, en route, require prior approval and an additional charge. Discounts are given when ride cards are purchased from your driver (10 rides for $8).

Additional Demand Response Information
Henderson Physically or Mentally Challenged Transportation Program - Demand Response is a public transportation system established to provide mobility to the disabled citizens of Henderson. Persons with a documented disability which prevents their use of the regular HART fixed route service are eligible.

Demand Response Service is also provided to a personal care attendant (PCA) traveling with an eligible rider. In addition to a personal care attendant, service may also be provided to one companion accompanying an eligible rider. Other persons accompanying the rider are accommodated on a space available basis. Persons are considered to be accompanying the eligible rider if they are picked up and dropped off at the same locations as the rider. Companions are charged the same fare as the eligible rider and personal care attendants ride free.

Complementary paratransit service is also provided to ADA eligible individuals who travel to areas outside of the region in which they live. If these individuals have been certified as ADA paratransit eligible by a public entity, that certification will be honored and provided with paratransit service for a period of up to 21 days.

Demand Response operates throughout the city limits of Henderson, providing one-way or round-trip curb to curb service. Arrangements may also be made to pre-schedule a pickup on a regular dependable basis for your convenience.



To arrange and use the Demand Response transportation service, call (270) 831-1249 (TDD 831-1249) either one or more working days ahead to make an appointment. We reserve the right to negotiate the time requested due to other commitments. If you call after business hours, Saturday or Sunday please leave your name and phone number on the answering service and we will call you the next business day.  Be sure to speak slowly and clearly, in order to allow us to provide the best possible service.

Lost & Found
If you have lost an item, call (270) 831-1249, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you find an item, give it to your HART driver. All items can be identified and claimed at the HART office at 401 North Elm Street.
